PennyPilot Privacy Policy

PennyPilot is a personal finance tracker built by VirtualProdigy LLC ("we", "us", "our"). We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data PennyPilot collects, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Data We Collect

2. Financial Data Stays on Your Device

Your financial data — transactions, savings goals, spending categories, and budgets — is stored exclusively on your device in an encrypted database. We do not have access to this data. It is never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party.

3. Feedback Submissions

When you submit feedback through the app, the following information is sent to our server:

• Your feedback message
• App version and platform (iOS or Android)
• Timestamp

Feedback is delivered to our team via email and is used solely to improve the app. We do not associate feedback with your financial data.

4. Crash Reports and Analytics

We use Google Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to collect:

• Crash logs and stack traces
• Device model, OS version, and app version
• General usage patterns (screens viewed, feature usage frequency)

This data is anonymized and used to fix bugs and understand how the app is used. It does not include your financial data. Firebase's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Data We Do Not Collect

7. Data Retention

Your on-device data persists until you delete the app or clear app data. Feedback submissions are retained in our email system. Firebase data is retained according to Google's standard retention policies (typically 90 days for crash data, 14 months for analytics).

8. Children's Privacy

PennyPilot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights

Since your financial data is stored only on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete all app data by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in your device settings.
